On August 30, Elizabeth Gibbes moderated a panel at the Global Carolina Connections conference. She led a discussion about the state of foreign relations and what it means for the Carolinas. The panel included James Hill, honorary consul general of Canada, Melanie Moltmann, honorary consul general of Germany, and Miguel Antonio Cuesta Zarco, honorary deputy consul general of Mexico. Elizabeth leads Parker Poe’s International Business Practice and is honorary consul of Germany for South Carolina and Georgia.
Global Carolina Connections is the premier conference for foreign direct investment and international manufacturers in the Carolinas. The 10th annual conference took place at the Younts Conference Center at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Parker Poe partner Sam Moses is a co-founder of the conference.
