Atlanta, GA — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that David Pardue has been elected to the board of directors for the United States Intellectual Property Alliance (USIPA). Based in Atlanta, the alliance seeks to facilitate the creation, protection, and enablement of ideas through an efficient and effective intellectual property ecosystem.
The USIPA board is comprised of academic, business, government, and individual leaders across a range of areas, from science and technology centers, public and private institutions, and artistic creators to legal professionals. The group follows three pillars: intellectual property awareness and education, intellectual property collaboration, and intellectual property diversity and inclusion.
David has also served as chair of the trade secrets committee of the intellectual property section for the State Bar of Georgia as well as on the intellectual property committee of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS).
At Parker Poe, David brings more than 30 years of experience representing clients in business litigation and with their intellectual property needs. He has particularly deep experience with trade secrets, trademark litigation, employment and noncompetes, and insurance coverage issues related to intellectual property.
