Ellen Smith moderated a panel about film in Georgia at the May 15 board meeting for SelectCobb. The panel included Cobb County travel and tourism leaders, local attorneys serving the entertainment industry, and executives who work with the film and entertainment industry.

Ellen led the panel in a discussion of Georgia's film tax credit program, the status of legislative actions impacting the film industry, and the impacts the industry has had on Cobb County, from workforce development, tax dollar impacts, and business support.

SelectCobb is a public private partnership developed with input from state, county, city, business, and education leaders. It is an initiative of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
