Atlanta, GA — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Bennett Bryan has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as counsel. Bennett is the former supervising attorney for the DeKalb County Law Department, where he spent 10 years overseeing the county’s civil cases in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Bennett is a litigator with significant experience in trial and appellate court proceedings. He leverages that experience to effectively and efficiently defend local governments, school districts, and their officials from lawsuits involving constitutional claims, contracts, torts, and employment issues.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Bennett served as a special prosecutor for the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office, investigating and prosecuting white collar crimes and violent felonies. Bennett joins Parker Poe’s Business Litigation Team, which has extensive experience representing clients before state and federal courts, governmental agencies, and national and international arbitration panels. The firm’s trial attorneys have decades of first-chair experience and a proven track record of resolving disputes across a broad array of industries, including energy, financial services, health care, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, real estate, and technology.
