Ellen Smith spoke on a panel August 19 as part of a Council for Quality Growth Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) program. The panel featured women who serve in leadership positions across the development industry, from real estate, architecture and engineering, construction, law, and utility.

Each speaker discussed their career journeys, shared leadership advice, and provided insight into fields with an increasing number of women in leadership roles.

Ellen, like others on the panel, sits on the board of directors for the Council for Quality Growth. Ellen is also a member of the council's executive committee. Founded in 1985, the Council for Quality Growth represents the growth and development industry of the Atlanta metro region, with a mission to promote balanced and responsible growth.
