Tyler Smith will participate in a panel discussion alongside other public finance industry leaders at the National Association of Bond Lawyers' Workshop 2024 in Chicago, the organization’s annual education conference.

The panel will provide an introduction to new markets tax credit (NMTC) terminology and an intermediate review of common NMTC structures. It will also have an in-depth discussion of potential issues related to using tax-exempt bonds as leverage for NMTC transactions.

Tyler is a former board member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Since 1979, the organization has educated its members on the laws affecting state and municipal bonds.
