Bruce Thompson was a guest on the Australia Institute’s After America podcast, where he previewed the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

Bruce discussed how the U.S. election fits in with a number of national elections happening across the globe, what the campaign has looked like in the swing state of North Carolina, and key differences in whom either candidate could appoint to their cabinets.

Bruce was an early advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign when she ran for president in 2020. He also sat this year on the Democratic National Convention Rules Committee.
