Adam will serve on the Tax Authority State & Local board, where he will provide feedback on the publication’s coverage and share insights on how best to shape future coverage.
At Parker Poe, Adam focuses his practice on tax controversy issues, complex business litigation, and state procurement litigation. As the former managing counsel for litigation at the South Carolina Department of Revenue, Adam provided leadership and direction for all litigation and potential litigation involving both tax and regulatory issues. He was also personally involved in the trials and appeals of the most complex of the department’s cases. He then served as the deputy director of Tax Policy Services, where he advised the department’s director, taxpayers, and the general assembly on a variety of tax and regulatory issues.
Adam litigates commercial disputes for large and small businesses across industries and brings more than 20 years of experience trying cases and handling appeals in both state and federal courts.
