Laura Goode and Collier Marsh discussed how brokers, property owners, and developers can streamline their deals during a networking lunch hosted by North Carolina CCIM Triangle at Parker Poe's Raleigh office. 

Laura and Collier provided several tips, including the importance of assembling a team early on in the deal process and getting ahead on due diligence (before the purchase and sale agreement is signed). They also discussed how securing entitlements can vary by jurisdiction and common issues that can kill a deal. 

The CCIM Institute administers the CCIM Designation to commercial real estate professionals upon completion of rigorous coursework, and the local NC CCIM chapter offers ongoing education and networking to its members.
