Charleston, SC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce Daniel Layfield has joined the firm as a partner in its Charleston office. He brings extensive experience helping clients structure and close complex transactions.
Daniel advises on private equity platform and add-on acquisitions and divestitures, mergers, venture capital investments, debt financing, stock and asset purchases, and general corporate needs. He has a deep understanding of buy-and-build strategies in the health care, financial services, consumer, and real estate sectors. His clients include global, national, and regional companies and investment firms.
Daniel spent a substantial portion of his career at leading New York law firms before moving back to South Carolina, where he grew up. He worked at Moore & Van Allen in Charleston most recently before joining Parker Poe. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
