Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that the Federal Bar Association has named Nicholas Lee as vice president of its Western District of North Carolina (WDNC) chapter. The WDNC is one of three federal districts in the state and spans a vast geographical area from Charlotte to the mountains near Boone and west toward the Tennessee border.
The chapter offers ongoing educational opportunities for its members on issues impacting federal practice in the region. As vice president, Nicholas will serve as a key leader planning and supporting the chapter’s operations, including its annual meeting, CLE’s, and other chapter initiatives. He will also perform the duties of the chapter president in their absence and act as a liaison between the chapter and the national Federal Bar Association organization.
At Parker Poe, Nicholas is a litigator in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation. He represents plaintiffs and defendants across a variety of issues, including cases related to trade secrets and other intellectual property, securities fraud, corporate governance, construction litigation, tort litigation, and foreign trade zones. He handles cases in state and federal courts and also conducts arbitrations.
