Law360 Highlights Parker Poe's Growth & Relocation in Washington, DC

Law360 wrote about Parker Poe moving to a larger office space following significant growth in the nation's capital. The move to a vibrant, modern office in the Gallery Place–Chinatown neighborhood puts the firm "where we anticipate there being significant development in DC," said Michael Kelley, the firm's DC Office Development Partner.

"Clearly, with the city and Monumental Sports getting together on a deal to keep the Wizards and the Caps there, and how that area is going to transform, I don't think there's a better place in the city right now to work," added Bruce Thompson, who leads the firm's federal lobbying and government affairs practice.

The office at 900 7th Street NW gives the law firm new ways to host and collaborate with clients, political leaders, and friends of the firm, including through receptions on a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the Capitol, as well as industry-based events and continuing legal education (CLE) sessions in an expansive conference room.

"I think that Parker Poe will become a destination on the political circuit because of that, and that's something that's important in this city — to have that ability," Bruce said.

Law360 also described the design of the new space, including an open layout with glass offices and natural light, as well as social and collaborative spaces.

"It really adds to the spirit overall of what we're trying to accomplish in DC, but also which is consistent with our other offices in Parker Poe," Michael said.
