Atlanta, GA – Atlanta's John Marshall Law School has named Alonzo Llorens to serve as lead attorney advisor for its Corporate and Business Law Society in the upcoming academic year. He will help the law school deepen relationships in the business community and develop programming focused on corporate law.
The Corporate and Business Law Society is dedicated to helping Atlanta's John Marshall Law School students gain insight into the field of corporate law, including through programming and networking with leaders in Atlanta's business community. As lead attorney advisor, Alonzo will serve as a sounding board for the society's leadership, as well as faculty and students seeking insights on business law issues and transactional practices. He will support the law school's mission to provide opportunity for legal education to both traditional and non-traditional students who show promise of making positive contributions to the profession, legal system, or society.
Alonzo is deeply involved in the metro Atlanta community, including as a member of the Gwinnett Chamber's board of directors and through roles with Leadership Atlanta and 100 Black Men of Atlanta. His prior roles include serving on the board of directors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber, First Choice Credit Union, the Atlanta Business League, the Atlanta Legal Diversity Consortium, and The Ron Clark Academy.
