Atlanta, GA – John Amabile has been registered as a mediator through the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, and is now available to act as a mediator to help businesses resolve disputes. He completed training in general civil mediation, which included 28 hours of classroom training and 12 hours of practicum training. He is now part of a registry of people who can act as a 'neutral' in court-connected cases in Georgia, as well as private mediations.
John brings significant prior mediation experience to the new mediator role. As a seasoned commercial litigator at Parker Poe, he has represented parties in more than 250 mediations and resolved hundreds of disputes. His mediation experience is broadly across various industries, and he has extensive experience resolving business and construction disputes, in cases pending in both courts and arbitrations.
"One reason I undertook this training is my belief that the mediation industry is underrepresented in neutrals with a strong background in business disputes," John said. "I hope my experience can help fill that void."
John also continues his active litigation practice, representing clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, logistics, consumer goods, and technology.
