Translucent Solar, a U.S.-based solar technology manufacturer, recently announced plans to establish a 1.2 GW solar module assembly facility in Summerville, South Carolina. The company's $15.6 million investment will create 167 new jobs and expand domestic solar manufacturing capacity while supporting the continued development of the U.S. solar supply chain.
