Greenville, SC – SCBIZ has named Emily Bridges among South Carolina’s emerging business leaders under 40. The statewide recognition honors professionals driving business success and community impact across South Carolina.
Small businesses and large, national companies that have a presence in South Carolina along with nonprofit organizations have benefited from Emily’s professional accomplishments and community involvement.
At Parker Poe, Emily advises businesses on complex business disputes and is a well-known litigator who represents companies in state and federal courts across the state. She also advises on employment law issues that many of the state’s employers face on a regular basis.
Emily has served as a journal editor for the American Bar Association Business Torts and Unfair Competition Committee since 2020.
Since 2016, Emily has served on the Community Foundation of Greenville’s Margaret Linder Southern Endowment Fund Committee. The foundation carries out the wishes of Margaret Linder Southern by making annual distributions to benefit the Greenville Humane Society and organizations that benefit or provide services for early childhood education and special education for children and youth.
Emily also previously served as president of Christ Church Episcopal School Alumni Association Board, where she led fundraising efforts for student scholarships.
