Charlotte, NC — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce Chip Holmes has been inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in the United States and Canada. Fellowship is by invitation only and follows a lengthy investigation of nominees. Less than 1% of attorneys in any given state or province are admitted to the college.

Chip was selected based on a review of his trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism, and collegiality. He is a partner in Charlotte where he has more than 25 years of experience counseling clients on a broad range of issues. Chip has a diverse litigation practice that includes defense of monetary damages claims in civil court and professional liability defense — particularly medical malpractice, business disputes, insurance litigation, premises liability litigation, and defense of professionals before state licensing boards.

Chip is admitted to practice in all three federal district courts in North Carolina, and he has argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. He is also certified as a mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.

Chip joins Rick Glaser, Catharine Arrowood, and Charles Raynal of Parker Poe as Fellows of the College.
