Deb Stern gave a presentation on HIPAA breaches and enforcement trends. The online faculty presentation was hosted by the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where Deb is an adjunct professor. 

Deb discussed the HIPAA privacy rule and security rule, breach trends in recent years, and recent enforcement activity by the Department of Health and Human Services as it relates to HIPAA breaches. She also provided key takeaways on that enforcement activity.
