Rose Shattuck has more than 25 years of medical office operations experience. She holds the credentials of Certified Health Care Billing Management Executive with varied experience in medical billing and health care management issues, particularly revenue enhancement services and coding and compliance. Rose is a Certified Professional Coder with the AAPC. She serves on the North Carolina Medical Society Health Care Audit Resource Team and is a member of the North Carolina Institute of Medicine Health Care Fraud and Abuse Workgroup.

Dr. Boyd K. Honeycutt was the Carrier Medical Director for Cigna Medicare for North Carolina for over ten years. He also held the title of medical director in large group practices and practiced Internal Medicine in a variety of settings for over 30 years. Recently retired from Cigna Medicare, Dr. Honeycutt joined Rose Shattuck and Associates as a consultant in May 2011. His expertise will provide a physician’s perspective on the importance of coding and documentation, as well as teaching practices how to get along with Medicare.

Rick Glaser is a partner in the Charlotte office of Parker Poe. Rick focuses his practice in the areas of governmental investigations, internal investigations and white collar criminal defense. Prior to joining Parker Poe, Rick served as First Assistant and Executive Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, responsible for oversight and operational review of the Civil, Administrative and Criminal Divisions of the District. Since joining Parker Poe to help create the Government Investigations & White Collar Defense team, Rick has been responsible for overseeing health care, antitrust, accounting and general fraud internal investigations, as well as representing individuals in major health care, antitrust, accounting, securities, and general fraud investigations.

Joy Hord focuses her practice primarily on the resolution of legal, regulatory and business issues for entities involved in the health care industry. Her passion for learning makes traveling through the Carolinas and Virginia to educate the Medicare community delightful. Makeba has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from of Saint Augustine's College located in Raleigh, NC.
