The Impact of Health Care Reform on Employer-Sponsored Health Plans: What You Should Know Now

    Speaking Engagements

All employers offering health insurance to employees (whether insured or self-insured) will need to become familiar with the new health care reform legislation and determine how it will affect their health plans. Many of the provisions will not apply until 2014 or later, but some become effective as early as 2010 and 2011. Members of Parker Poe’s employee benefits group will address the key provisions affecting employers in the short-term, grandfathered plans and steps employers should be considering at this time.
