Tiffany Burba Named Intellectual Property Section Member of the Year by North Carolina Bar Association

Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Tiffany Burba has been named Intellectual Property Section Member of the Year for 2021-2022 by the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). Tiffany, the inaugural recipient of this award, was recognized at the NCBA IP Section CLE and Annual Meeting for her positive impact and contribution to the practice of IP law in North Carolina and within the NCBA IP Section.

Tiffany is a leader in North Carolina’s intellectual property community, serving on the leadership council of NCBA’s Intellectual Property Law Section and co-chairing the IP Section’s Licensing Committee.

At Parker Poe, Tiffany helps clients negotiate technology contracts and protect their intellectual property rights. She has particular experience at the intersection of intellectual property and technology, including drafting and negotiating hundreds of contracts involving cloud software, data sharing, cybersecurity consulting, and other areas. She has also counseled national companies on compliance with international, federal, and state data privacy regulations. Tiffany gives back to the next generation of attorneys by teaching a course on software licensing, technology, and data privacy at Campbell Law School.
