Columbia, SC— Economic development professionals and attorneys with Parker Poe Consulting in Columbia, S.C. and Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP in Charlotte, N.C. are helping HUESKER inc. establish a new geosynthetics manufacturing facility in Shelby, N.C.
Based in Germany, HUESKER Group operates in more than 60 countries as a leading producer of geosynthetic solutions and systems for earthworks and foundations, roads and pavements, environmental and hydraulic engineering, industry and agriculture.
The company’s North Carolina-based U.S. subsidiary will be creating 20 new jobs as it adds 100,000 square feet to its 50,000-square foot Cleveland County facility. The $8.5 million investment will include new equipment as well as manufacturing, warehouse and office space.
