Caitlin Becker advises businesses on investments and expansions in the United States. As the former head of an international law firm’s U.S. desk in Germany, she has a unique understanding of the cultural and business needs of clients seeking to relocate or expand in the United States.
In her role at the international law firm in Cologne, Germany, Caitlin leveraged her North Carolina license and registration in Germany to provide U.S. legal advice to companies on corporate, commercial, and immigration law.
Caitlin is fluent in German and proficient in Spanish. She has experience providing German businesses with strategic planning advice as they expanded to the U.S., including on formation, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. She also advised clients on business reorganization and restructuring, securities regulation, and share issuance. Caitlin has experience preparing various visa applications for international clients.
Caitlin also previously was managing director of a German-based business that provides immigration advice.
She previously was a judicial clerk to Chief Administrative Law Judge Susan L. Biro of the Environmental Protection Agency. She earned her law degree from Wake Forest University, where she was the executive editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Public Policy. She earned a bachelor's degree from William & Mary College.
