Kim Betz partners with clients to guide strategic growth through acquisitions, compliance, and risk management. She has two decades of experience as in-house counsel for multibillion-dollar global businesses, where she advised executives on mergers and acquisitions, compliance, contracts, litigation, and intellectual property. She has particular experience in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Clients rely on Kim's guidance and legal judgment to navigate complex deals and operational challenges. She has led legal strategy for cross-border transactions and directed acquisitions that ultimately led to $500 million in revenue. She has also designed compliance and contract frameworks that reduced risk while improving profitability.
Kim spent nearly 15 years in-house at Ingersoll Rand, ultimately serving as vice president and assistant general counsel. In that role, she guided leadership teams on acquisitions, contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and litigation, with a focus on business units overseeing more than $1 billion in global revenue. Before that, she was chief counsel for global operations for INVISTA. She started her legal career as an attorney at Parker Poe.
Kim earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her undergraduate's degree from Wake Forest University.
