Announcing Parker Poe's 2004 Fall Associates and Special Counsel

The law firm of Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Maxwell A. Carr, Ashley B. Menser and Shannon N. Stokes have joined the firm as associates in the Charlotte office. Kathryn S. Lehman and Brenton W. McConkey have joined the firm as associates and Rebecca Blackmon Joyner has joined the firm as special counsel in the Raleigh office.

The following has joined our Litigation Department:

Kathryn S. Lehman received her J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2004 and her B.A., B.S. summa cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2001.

The following has joined our Regulation of Business and Governmental Relations Department:

Brenton W. McConkey received his J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2004 and his BA. summa cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2001.

The following have joined our Transactional Department:

Maxwell A. Carr received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004 and his B.A. from George Mason University in 1997.

Rebecca Blackmon Joyner received her J.D. magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law in 2004, her M.P.A from Columbia University in 1998 and her B.A. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. Prior to joining Parker Poe, Ms. Joyner was a Vice President with the Southeastern Regional Rating Group of Moody’s Investors Service in New York.

Ashley B. Menser received her J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2004 and her B.A. with honors from the University of Florida in 2001.

Shannon N. Stokes received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2004 and J.D. cum laude from Texas Tech University 2004.
