Farthing Re-Elected as Parker Poe Managing Partner

(CHARLOTTE) - Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP has announced the re-election of William P. Farthing, Jr. as Managing Partner.  Mr. Farthing, who has served as Managing Partner since 2002, was elected by the partnership for a second four-year term.

As Managing Partner, Mr. Farthing is responsible for establishing and implementing the firm’s strategic direction and oversees its day-to-day policy and management.  Under Mr. Farthing’s management, the firm has grown to more than 200 attorneys in six offices across North Carolina and South Carolina.  The National Law Journal recently recognized Parker Poe as one of the fastest growing law firms in the United States. 

Mr. Farthing is a member of the Board of Trustees for Johnson C. Smith University.  He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Farthing received a JD, with honors, in 1974 and an AB in 1970 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar.
