Last month, the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a new version of its employee rights poster.  Called the “It’s the Law” poster, the notice must be posted in every workplace in the U.S.  The new poster contains revised and simplified language regarding employer obligations and employees’ rights to file complaints involving workplace safety.  While OSHA is not requiring existing posters to be replaced, the new version should be used when employers update their compliance postings.  The poster is available in English and Spanish, and can be obtained at www.osha.gov.
