Sarah Hutchins Appointed PCAB Board Secretary

(CHARLOTTE, N.C.)—Sarah Fulton Hutchins, an attorney in the Charlotte office of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, was appointed to serve as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC).

PCANC is the only statewide organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. As a member of the board, Ms. Hutchins will work with a team of 15 statewide volunteer leaders dedicated to child well-being and family strengthening efforts across North Carolina.

Ms. Hutchins practices in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on competition and consumer protection law, business torts - including trade secret litigation, fraud and tortious interference claims - and white collar crime investigation and defense.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for PCANC, Ms. Hutchins is a member of the organization’s External Relations Committee. She was selected as a participant for the 2012 Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) Leadership Institute and served on the MCB Bar Centennial Committee. Ms. Hutchins is also a member of Parker Poe’s Community Service Committee.

She received her JD from the College of William and Mary and her BA, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
