Brian Cromwell and Sarah Hutchins Present to Local CFA Chapter

(CHARLOTTE, N.C.)—Brian Cromwell and Sarah Hutchins were invited to speak at the November 27th meeting of the Commercial Finance Association – Carolinas Chapter. Their presentation, “Understanding  Government Investigations,” included information on how investigations are initiated, state and federal statutes impacting the financial services industry and minimizing and eliminating criminal liability.

Mr. Cromwell, a Partner in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office, and Ms. Hutchins, an Associate in the Charlotte office, are both members of the firm’s Antitrust & Business Torts Practice Group. Mr. Cromwell counsels companies, as well as their officers, directors and employees, on a variety of white collar matters, internal investigations and SEC enforcement issues. Ms. Hutchins practices in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on competition and consumer protection law, business torts – including trade secret litigation, fraud and tortious interference claims – and white collar crime investigation and defense.
