Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that attorneys Andrew F. Dana and Jeffery J. Morris have joined the firm’s Trusts & Estates Planning practice group in Charlotte. The estate planning group continues to be a key growth area for the law firm as record numbers of business owners, high net-worth individuals, corporate executives and entrepreneurs seek wealth transfer guidance.
Andrew joins Parker Poe as a Partner and leader of the Trusts & Estates practice, providing a depth of experience on business, tax, real estate and estate planning matters of all sizes. He has a proven track record of providing proactive asset protection and tax minimization strategies to a broad range of domestic and foreign clientele. His focus will be offering private wealth services to select high net worth families and delivering efficient estate planning and administration and fiduciary litigation services when needed. Andrew earned his J.D. with highest honors from Washington and Lee University and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.
Joining Andrew as counsel is colleague Jeffery J. Morris. Jeff focuses his practice on federal and state income, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. He also offers valuable experience in specific issues related to partnerships, S Corporations, and limited liability companies. Jeff earned his J.D. from University of South Carolina and his LL.M. in Taxation from University of Florida.
