Charlotte, NC – Sarah Hutchins, Associate in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office, has been named as an honoree for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s 2015 Leaders in the Law award based on her leadership and professionalism. An awards reception will be held on Friday, September 25th at the Hilton Center City Charlotte where one honoree from the 2015 class will receive the highest award as the Lawyer of the Year. Ms. Hutchins’ civil involvement includes membership on the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, McColl Center for Art + Innovation, and the Humane Society of Charlotte.
Sarah Hutchins practices in the area of commercial litigation with a particular focus on competition law, and in the area of white collar crime investigation and defense. She works with clients in disputes involving business torts and antitrust claims as well as other general commercial disputes. Ms. Hutchins has significant experience advising clients in large-scale government investigations and further advises clients on compliance with federal and state consumer privacy and protection laws. Ms. Hutchins’ practice includes management of large-scale electronic discovery matters and resolution of eDiscovery issues.
