Al Guarnieri has 30 years of experience in international business, site selection, economic development, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents a range of global corporations and has particular experience working with foreign-owned companies entering and expanding in the USA. He is a close advisor to companies expanding through organic growth or acquisitions and in the structuring of their investments. Al is active in the Charlotte community through his involvement as the director of the Charlotte Chapter of the American Council on Germany and on the leadership team of the German American Chamber of Commerce's North Carolina Chapter. Al also serves on the USO Charlotte Advisory Committee. He was previously on the board of trustees of the Fletcher School and the World Affairs Council of Charlotte. In recognition of his significant contributions to the international life of the community, Al recently received the Harold P. Josephson Award.
