Parker Poe Announces New Partner for 2019

Charlotte, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce the election of a new partner for 2019. Tyler Smith in Greenville was voted into the firm’s partnership.

Tyler Smith's practice focuses on both public and business finance as well as government and public policy. He has worked with public and private sector clients across the U.S., such as hospitals, financial institutions, educational institutions of all levels, and 501(c)(3) organizations.

Tyler has substantial experience with new markets tax credits, interest rate swaps, derivative transactions, and other complex investment products and is an integral part of the Parker Poe team for the new, federal Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) program. His undergraduate and graduate level education in mathematics, economics, and law, together with extensive transactional experience, make him well-positioned to understand complex economic transactions and to advise clients on a breadth of potential transaction structures, options, risks, and solutions.
