Keith Weddington provided an employment law update to the Association of Corporate Counsel's Charlotte chapter. 

Keith reviewed significant employment law decisions from the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and North Carolina courts. He also examined shifts in regulatory interpretations and activity, including employer liability for overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act, sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement, changing marijuana regulations, and the status of Title VII’s coverage of sexual orientation and transgender discrimination.
