Kay Hobart presented in Seattle at the 2019 Credits and Incentives Symposium of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). Kay discussed the challenges presented by state tax audits and offered strategies to defend against and manage an audit. She also explored best practices for handling appeals at the administrative level and beyond, including the benefits of developing a strategy early in the process. 

The IPT was founded in 1976 and today serves more than 6,000 tax professionals in corporations and firms around the country.
