Charlotte, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization has certified Charlotte partner Sarah Hutchins in privacy and information security law.
The board certification demonstrates Sarah’s “special training, experience, and knowledge” in privacy and information security law, according to the State Bar. A meaningful portion of her practice and continuing legal education is focused on that area. She was endorsed by 10 of her peers outside of Parker Poe and passed a North Carolina-specific exam.

The IAPP is the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community, and it provides the gold standard certifications for data privacy.
Parker Poe’s Steve Britt, counsel in Washington, D.C., is also recognized by the IAPP for his command of data privacy issues. Steve is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
