Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe recently assisted Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD) in its selection of North Carolina’s Research Triangle region for a new business services center that will deliver financial, human resources, and information technology services, including cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives.
Gilead plans to create 275 jobs and invest up to $5 million at the new business services center.
Gilead, with headquarters in Foster City, California, is a leading biopharmaceutical company developing innovative medicines. Gilead has operations in more than 35 countries. Its primary areas of focus are virology, inflammation, and oncology.
Parker Poe advised Gilead on several aspects of the project, including incentives and real estate. The Parker Poe team included Steve Hunting, Dom Lerario, and Shelia Loring.
