Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that two of its attorneys have been ranked in Lawyers of Color's Annual Hot List for 2022. They are Jasmine Little and Laura Wright.
Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. The list, comprised of in-house counsel, government attorneys, and law firm associates, recognizes early to mid-career attorneys excelling in the legal profession. Attorneys are chosen by a selection committee that reviews nominations and researches legal publications in order to identify promising candidates, giving special attention to candidates who were active in diversity pipeline initiatives.
Jasmine Little advises clients in government investigations and white-collar criminal defense matters, representing clients in civil litigation and class actions. Prior to private practice, she gained substantial litigation experience as an attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, defending service members accused of military crimes and prosecuting special victims crimes.
Laura Wright is an intellectual property associate whose practice primarily focuses on trademark law. As a former attorney within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Laura utilizes her government experience and extensive knowledge of trademark prosecution and clearance to assist clients with procuring trademark registrations and protecting their intellectual property rights.
