Beth Morris and Reagan Sauls recently presented at the G-CASE Spring Legal Forum. They provided a deep dive into the potential legal remedies that school districts may face when presented with IDEA due process complaints, state formal complaints, and Office for Civil Rights complaints along with practical guidance in being prepared with both proactive measures and responsive approaches.
G-CASE is organized to promote professional leadership, provide an opportunity for the study of problems common to its members, and to communicate through discussion and publications information that will develop improved services for exceptional children.
In addition, Reagan also joined MaryGrace Kittrell for a presentation that addressed the growing concern that many school districts are facing in light of the increasing mental health concerns of children. Click here for more information.
