Raleigh, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that North Carolina Lawyers Weekly has honored Tiffany Burba among its Icons and Phenoms. The award program recognizes the region’s most accomplished and promising legal professionals. Tiffany was nominated by one of her peers and selected by a panel of judges from the publication’s editorial team as one of the most promising legal professionals.
Tiffany helps clients negotiate technology contracts and protect their intellectual property rights. She has particular experience at the intersection of intellectual property and technology, having drafted and negotiated thousands of contracts involving cloud software, data sharing, cybersecurity consulting, and other areas. She has negotiated multimillion-dollar deals with some of the country’s prominent life sciences and software companies.
Tiffany is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), which has been recognized by the IAPP as the gold standard for privacy professionals. She has counseled national companies on compliance with international, federal, and state data privacy regulations.
Tiffany serves on the leadership council of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section, which recognized her as its Member of the Year for 2022. She also teaches a course on technology and data privacy law at Campbell Law School and maintains a robust pro bono practice. In addition, she is a recent graduate of the Raleigh Chamber Emerging Leaders program and serves on the board of directors for the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum. Raleigh Magazine has named Tiffany among the city’s top 20 up-and-coming leaders who are in their 20s.
North Carolina Lawyers Weekly will honor Tiffany and its other Icons and Phenoms at an event on July 20 at the Hilton Charlotte University Place.
