Katherine Ross is moderating two panels on Wednesday, December 6 and Thursday, December 7 at the Southeast Renewable Energy Conference in Charlotte.
Katherine's first panel focuses on financing renewable energy projects in the Southeast in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) era. She will moderate a discussion about how the IRA is changing the game when it comes to financing of renewable projects, including impacts to capital stacks, sourcing of tax equity, contractual structures, and project timelines.
The panel will review how supply chain and other uncertainties are impacting Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) negotiations, among other questions.
In her second panel, titled Changing Dynamics of Renewable Energy Development, Katherine will lead a discussion about how various market forces, the permitting environment, and the IRA are changing development in the Southeast. The panel will also discuss what solutions are being used to move projects forward.
Among other topics, the panel will review how developers are sourcing solar and storage equipment that meets the requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act as well as trends regarding PPA pricing in the Southeast, and how that is affecting project development and financing.
