Parker Poe was proud to sponsor OMBI Group’s 2024 Draft Luncheon in Detroit. The luncheon is an opportunity for parents of NFL draft prospects to network with other parents of active and retired players. The parents also get to hear from industry professionals on how to work with their child to make the best of his NFL career and create a positive legacy on and off the field.

Traci Bransford was among a number of speakers, including parents of NFL players. Traci discussed the importance of the players and their families having appropriate legal resources to assist them with corporate entity formation, branding, trademark and copyright law, and guidance for small and minority business certification, which was a follow up to the OMBI Group Small Business Incubator program that Traci presented on in February before several small businesses nationally.

Traci also served as a moderator for a fireside chat with OMBI Group’s CEO and founder Kimberly Haynes who spoke on 501(c)(3) nonprofit and foundation compliance given the philanthropic nature of so many players.
