Steve Weber presented about emerging environmental topics on April 12 at the Carolinas Air Pollution Control Association (CAPCA) 2024 Spring Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina.
Steve’s discussion covered a number of timely issues, including changes to the U.S. EPA’s Risk Management Program, new guidance on environmental justice, new regulatory proposals under the Toxic Substances Control Act, and more.
The meeting, which ran from April 10 to April 12, also included Parker Poe attorney Mallory Sparks who chaired two sessions.
CAPCA is made up of approximately 600 active members representing local, state and national air pollution control agencies; a wide variety of regulated industries; environmental consulting and testing firms; equipment manufacturers; related interest groups; and an interested general public.
