Charlotte, NC — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Carson Lane has been elected to the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is one of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organizations in the United States. The organization serves more than 1,100 children each year in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and York counties by using traditional community and school-based mentoring to build educational success, higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships.
The board provides financial and strategic support and guidance to further the group’s mission and vision. Many of the board members volunteer or previously volunteered as Bigs. Carson has volunteered as a Big Sister since 2020.
At Parker Poe, Carson primarily defends employers in state and federal employment claims.
