Adrianne Chillemi presented on a roundtable discussion alongside architects, engineers, and construction managers about best practices, risks, and rewards for building information modeling (BIM) contract documents during the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Charlotte Knowledge Symposium. 

Owners are increasingly requiring BIM as a deliverable with model quality defined in designers’ contracts.

Adrianne provided insights about the risks and rewards for parties in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry in the development of BIM-based deliverables. She also discussed the requirements and strategies for delivering record BIM and construction documents.
