Charlotte, NC – The Mecklenburg County Bar has selected Carson Lane as a member of its Bar Leadership Institute Class of 2026. The institute identifies and develops leaders for the 26th Judicial District Bar and the Mecklenburg Bar Association and Foundation.

At Parker Poe, Carson represents both large and small employers across a range of industries, including manufacturing, education, and healthcare. She has litigation experience defending employers against lawsuits arising under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

She also counsels clients in healthcare, primarily focusing on physician practices. She advises those clients on employment agreements, and handbooks and policies, and drafts and negotiates physician compensation agreements.

The Mecklenburg County Bar aims to improve and preserve the administration of justice and to assist the North Carolina State Bar as described by statutory requirements.
