Steve Carey moderated a fireside chat with North Carolina Business Court Judge Matthew T. Houston in an event hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association’s Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes Section.

Their discussion covered Judge Houston’s background and path to the Business Court, including discussion of his childhood and education, time practicing as a complex business disputes attorney, and his continuing experience as a special superior court judge. Judge Houston also offered some thoughts and perspective on the Business Court as he finishes his first year on that specialized court.

The Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes Section serves lawyers who practice in the areas of complex business litigation, including class actions and business torts, as well as antitrust and trade regulation. Steve is a member of the section’s council.
