Raleigh, NC – The Triangle Business Journal has named Eva Frongello among the 40 top business leaders under the age of 40 in the region.
From one of the world’s 10 largest companies by market capitalization to national restaurant-industry leaders, high-profile sports and entertainment clients, Raleigh’s beloved children’s museum, and local artists across North Carolina, many have benefited from Eva's professional accomplishments and community involvement.
In her legal practice, Eva helps clients capitalize on their intellectual property assets and develop innovative products. She is skilled at providing a full range of intellectual property solutions, including preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, conducting clearance searches, navigating intellectual property disputes, and negotiating coexistence and license agreements.
Eva also has served on the Indigenous Rights Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) since 2023. In the past year, she became chair of its Awareness Subcommittee, which works to educate others about intellectual property issues affecting Indigenous communities worldwide.
Additionally, Eva serves on the board of directors for Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh, providing guidance as the nonprofit serves over half a million visitors each year. She was part of the 2024-2025 Leadership Raleigh class as well, whose projects delivered direct benefits for nearly 22,000 people in the region.
She also maintains an active pro bono practice. Her 2025 impact included representing a leading performing arts nonprofit in North Carolina in connection with various trademark issues and copyright infringement, representing local artists in securing trademarks and copyrights on their work, and managing the trademark portfolios of other pro bono clients.
Eva has previously served as a mentor with Neighbor to Neighbor, a Raleigh nonprofit whose purpose is to reverse the effects of poverty through mentoring relationships that focus specifically on education, development, and spirituality. She also participates in Parker Poe’s internal mentorship programs and has served as a mentor with the North Carolina Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Student Mentorship Program.
The Triangle Business Journal will celebrate Eva and her fellow award-winners at an event on June 24 at Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh.
