The Regulatory, Investigations, and Compliance Practice Group focuses on helping companies navigate the intricate landscape of global commerce, including by developing and refining compliance programs to address international regulations such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act. The group also brings knowledge and experience in handling civil and criminal investigations involving money laundering and financial and trade sanctions.
At Parker Poe, Parisa offers more than 20 years of insight into how clients can navigate complex compliance and investigative challenges, including evolving international trade regulations and high-stakes government enforcement actions. A former Inspector General of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), Parisa advises and defends businesses, their boards, and executives in cross-border investigations and compliance issues both at home and abroad.
