Brittany Cone will lead an interactive case study session that will examine what happens when a senior living incident ends up in court during the 2026 Georgia Senior Living Association (GSLA) annual conference in Duluth.

Brittany’s panel will explore real-world cases, including nuclear verdicts, and uncover what happened, where risk management broke down, and what could have been done differently.

Attendees will be left with strategies to prevent similar outcomes and strengthen documentation and processes. Brittany will also provide practical lessons senior living leaders can apply to reduce risk, protect residents and staff, and better prepare their organizations when faced with a serious claim.
